I'm Doing a New Thing | 6x8 Original

This is a 6x8 original watercolor on paper called "I Am Doing a New Thing". It was a spontaneous unplanned piece I did in 2025 as I trusted God to create something through me. It comes UNFRAMED so you can find what you like best!

I like art like this because It speaks a message HE DESIRES to speak rather than me coming up with something.

Once I saw it I felt it spoke of a new season coming. She had been in the room inside. It felt the same. Maybe feeling too comfortable and getting restless. Who am I? What is my purpose? Does God hear me? Her heart was deeply desiring something new. The wind of the Holy Spirit began to shift things. God's presence was evident. The leaves began to blow from the trees and a butterfly appeared before her as a reminder that God IS DOING A NEW THING. Even NOW. He reminds her that the NEW is first in HER as she is transformed and begins to know His love and see things his way. All the sudden what felt mundane and stuck, began to have a fresh peace and gratitude on it. Yes, new things are on the way, but it opened as she was given a new heart to rest in the present, knowing God is always working and he is making your way perfect!

Behold, I am doing a new thing;
