Monstera Leaf Earrings

The monstera plant leaves are beautiful and I love these gold monstera earrings!🍃

I like everything I wear to be a reminder of something good and true. I'll share a story about what these earrings make me think of:

I found one of these plants at a plant nursery when I was with one of my closest friend up in the mountains. It was small and healthy and I was so happy to take it home!💚 I knew nothing about these plants and soon it grew so huge I could barely contain it! She was beautiful! I love looking at her gorgeous leaves. Eventually, I ended up cutting off a few branches to make new plants and trim the huge one down a little. It was hard for me to make those cuts...but I gave one to my friend, I kept one, and another went to her cousin. It reminds me that when we take good care of ourselves; giving ourselves love, believing the truth, choosing what's healthy and living with purpose; we will naturally grow just like this plant! When we are healthy we can give freely of ourselves to others!  When we're green and growing strong it doesn't feel like a sacrifice to give. We actually grow even more when we allow ourselves to be pruned. You are made by God to naturally grow beautifully, even bigger and better than you imagined! Nothing can stop your growth when you're connected to Christ (just like my beautiful monstera is still growing bigger!) Keep watering yourself with God's truth and love! Stay planted in what's healthy. You were created to thrive and to be a giver of life! 

He put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man planted in his field. Although it is the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”.-Matthew 13:31-32

...he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.-John 15:2b
